These terms are the agreement between you and Shattered Sun Ltd for your use of our puzzle app. Please read them. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The service
Our app lets you generate and play crossword and word-search puzzles. You can buy tokens through your app store to use certain features. We may add, change or remove features over time to keep improving the app.
Your account
- The app is for people aged 13 and over.
- Please give accurate information when you set up your account and keep it up to date.
- Your account is for you. Please keep it secure and do not share access with others.
- You log in with a one-time code sent to your email address or phone number, so keep those details current.
Purchases and refunds
We only offer one-time purchases — you buy tokens once. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews automatically.
How refunds work depends on your device:
- On iOS (Apple): Apple handles all refunds for purchases made through the App Store. We cannot issue refunds ourselves. You can request one from Apple at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084.
- On Android (Google): if you bought something by accident, contact us through our support page within 48 hours and we will look into it. Otherwise, Google Play's own refund policies apply.
Our content and your puzzles
The app itself — its software, design, branding and content — belongs to Shattered Sun Ltd or our licensors. The puzzles the app generates are also ours. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Please do not copy, sell, redistribute or make commercial use of the app or its puzzles without our written permission.
Acceptable use
When using the app, please do not:
- misuse, overload or disrupt the app or the servers behind it;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the service or to other users' accounts;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract our source code or systems; or
- use the app to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
Availability
We work to keep the app running well, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. From time to time we may need to suspend or change the service for maintenance or other reasons.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under law that cannot be limited, including your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses.
Ending these terms
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy for how). We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England & Wales. If you live elsewhere, you may still have the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

Changes to these terms
These terms are dated at the top. If we make material changes, we will announce them in the app and on this website. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
